Hillmac Speech Competition

This week we had Anna Coleman come and visit a group of students who have decided to pursue the Hillmac speech competition. The speech topic is around natural disasters and a wide range of topics have been initiated from Rm 10 students. Adam; heat waves and blizzards, Oscar; acid rain, Imogen; Napier 1931 earthquake, Shamus; smog pollution, Zahra; coastal erosion, Jordan; hurricanes & Giovanni; Tsunami. One person from HNI will be going forward to present their speech at the National Aquarium over in Napier on the 14th September. I am super proud of all of the Rm 10 students who put their hand up to be involved with this opportunity!
