Week 10
Last weeks home-learning task was to design a robot to assist someone bound to a wheelchair. Once again, Room 12 learners went above and beyond. We had concept sketches, Google Drawings and Man Made Robots brought to school. Ben, Abe, Alix, Erin, Hattie, Francesca and Abbie excelled with this task. They were fabulous and such a treat to see at school on Friday morning. Keep up with this high level of commitment with home-learning Room 12, you are super stars!
It is Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori - Maori Language Week. 2016 is going to be positive, relevant, energetic, fun and exciting! It will show New Zealand that there is a place for the Māori language in our stadiums, on our sports fields, in the news and the ever growing realm of social media. It will also show the country that te reo Māori is a language for all New Zealanders. We will be posting our videos that Room 12 create on our classroom blog up until Wednesday. They are looking fabulous already!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS ROOM 12 - Have a really constructive break from school and come back recharged and ready to get stuck into all of the wonderful things that will be happening here at HNI in term 3.
