We have had an exciting and fun start to the year. We have worked really hard and come together as a house on a variety of occasions. We have had Sheppard Tabloids where we played Vortex throw, tug of war, 3 man race and patter tennis relays.
We have also been taught the school song by Year 8 leaders. Jaevarn showed us how to do the Haka and Nicky, Aramata, Renee, Niamh and Ashlee teaching the girls the actions. Today we are having a Sheppard Scavenger Hunt around the school.
Today we participated in a scavenger hunt around the school. This helped us to orientate our way around the school and take notice of exactly where we may find information and teachers. Students worked in teams made up of a person from a different class in Sheppard to ensure we are all getting to know each other. It was a great afternoon!
What a lovely looking bunch. I love coming into your room. You are all so friendly and happy. Maybe when you do the school song next, I could come and join you as I am not good at the actions!!! You would have to be very patient with me.
